Dry River visits Northland
- Kauri Cliffs
Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd September, 2022
Dry River winemaker Wilco Lam is hitting the road to celebrate the 'library release' of their superb 2012 pinot noir with guests of Robertson Lodges.
His second stop will be Kauri Cliffs for the first weekend of Spring. Discerning wine lovers, this is a weekend you will not want to miss!
Dry River is arguably one of New Zealand’s leading super premium wine brands, with a pinot noir that is perhaps Martinborough’s most highly regarded. Dry River crafts wines of great depth and presence and exceptional ageability, so the 2012 release brings much cause for excitement.
The Saturday night dinner will be a showcase of not only the 2012 pinot, but will include magnums, interesting whites, and more. The wines will be perfectly matched to the lodge’s 5-course tasting menu.
And because wine brings together the very best of people, a relaxed and convivial Friday night dinner is part of the special weekend. Interested guests are invited to join Wilco for dinner. Bring along your best selves and a favourite bottle from your own cellar. Wilco will be doing the same, and an evening of good food, special wines, good company and special surrounds awaits all those who love their wine.
The weekend is presented at no additional cost to the lodges’ seasonal tariffs, so book early at your lodge of choice to ensure your suite. Or why not come along to both?
