Easter at Cape Kidnappers
- Cape Kidnappers
As summer falls away, the Hawke’s Bay landscape becomes ablaze with red, orange and yellow hues as the sweet smell of freshly baked hot cross buns fills the air.
At The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, Easter is signified with the changing of the seasons and the lodge is tastefully decorated as the Easter Bunny’s visit is patiently anticipated.
Good Friday and Easter Sunday meals are celebrated with a special five-course tasting menu, created by Head Chef James Honore using fresh seasonal produce.
On Saturday night the Easter Bunny visits guests, leaving behind Easter Eggs at turndown and a Easter Egg Hunt for children to discover on Sunday morning.
Autumn is a magical time in the Hawke’s Bay, with vineyards in harvest and golf course fairways rejuvenated from new growth. Traditionally Easter boasts some of the best weather of the year to enjoy the spectacular hiking and cycling trails in the region, with crisp, sunny days and cool, clear evenings to enjoy.
