Julian Robertson and family are pleased to announce the Robertson Lodges brand, uniting their three award-winning New Zealand Lodges under the family name.
Robertson Lodges are recognized as among the best in the world - The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge each offer their own unique identity while remaining complementary to the others. The lodges’ experiences perfectly blend the warmest hospitality and the finest cuisine with the highest levels of comfort one expects from world-class resorts. These offerings are coordinated with exclusive activities tailor-made for guests of all ages and the breathtaking landscapes that provide the backdrop for a memorable getaway to the remarkable country of New Zealand.
A labor of love and passion, the Robertson family has spent more than 16 years developing this brand, which has become synonymous with the top luxury hospitality brands around the world. This reputation of world class excellence grew organically over the years, with new and repeat guests consistently expressing how an experience at the Robertson Lodges is unmatched.
“New Zealand has become a home away from home for our family over the years,” said Julian Robertson, founder and proprietor of Robertson Lodges. “We have remained committed to creating and offering travelers the quintessential New Zealand experience and are honored that each lodge is consistently recognized by premier publications such as Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure as among the best in the world.”
All Lodges carry the Relais & Chateaux hallmark of excellence, with both The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs and The Farm at Cape Kidnappers offering championship golf courses that are trademarks of distinction within the worldwide golf community.
Additionally, Mr. Robertson is expanding his hospitality footprint in New Zealand with the group’s recent management partnership with Kauri Cove, a private beachfront retreat on a secluded island in the Bay of Islands. Kauri Cove sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children and offers easy access to the ocean for a range of water sports and adventure. The island’s pristine habitat also forms part of an important native bird sanctuary. Kauri Cove is available at an all-inclusive tariff from NZ$25,000 plus GST per night, and with a minimum three-night stay to secure.
Kauri Cove is the first addition to the portfolio since the opening of Matakauri Lodge in 2010, and maintains the Robertson family’s forward-thinking enthusiasm for the future expansion of the brand’s exclusive offerings in New Zealand in the years ahead.
The Robertson Lodges brand represents a strong, cohesive presence within the travel industry and showcases the family’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
