The Farm at Cape Kidnappers consists of over 6,000 acres of private farmland, yours to explore. Take your guests mountain biking, four-wheel driving or hiking across the property – or we can arrange an orienteering challenge requiring a combination of teamwork, athletic ability and observational skills.
Just outside the farm gates, other adventures await. Outdoor activities are all varied and plentiful, with something unique and suitable for groups of all interests, ages and fitness levels. Embrace the country surroundings with horse riding and shepherding or visit the largest, most-accessible mainland gannet colony to see some of Hawke’s Bay’s most incredible wildlife in its natural habitat. Smaller groups will enjoy a day of heli-fishing, flying into untouched rivers and streams for the chance to hook the big one; and lovers of fine wine will relish the opportunity to take a scenic helicopter flight to have lunch at the renowned Craggy Range winery.
Even without the recreational activities on offer, visiting The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is an experience in itself. We can accommodate groups of four, and up to a maximum of 56, and our relatively isolated location is well-suited to those seeking privacy and discretion. Our guest accommodation is perched upon a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and all our rooms embody peace, comfort and pure relaxation. Suites can accommodate between two and four guests, while our exclusive Owner’s Cottage sleeps eight and offers the ultimate Cape Kidnappers hospitality experience. Lodge facilities include a well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, spa and library, and gourmet cuisine is offered over five unique dining spaces, with private dining venues available on request.
Package rates are quoted per person, per night, based on double or twin occupancy. All rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars, exclusive of 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST). A two-night minimum stay is required during the high season (December 15 – March 31). Packages are subject to change and availability.
