Josh is rated among the leading chefs in the world, but the country boy from New Zealand has always been proud of his roots. His rise to chef stardom took him on a global journey and to the notorious kitchen of Gordon Ramsay whom he worked for 10 years in London, New York, Los Angeles and Melbourne collecting several much coveted Michelin stars along the way. Now settled back in NZ, he is a household name after appearing as a judge on Masterchef NZ. Emett says New Zealand cuisine has come a long way and the simplicity and freshness of the produce has become world renowned..
Juliet is a renowned cheese, food and wine connoisseur, having spoken at numerous universities and judged at competitions across the UK, USA, Switzerland and France. Her curiosity took her from a small deli in Wellington to London where she set up Jeroboams, reputably London’s finest wine and cheese shop, and onwards to markets and ripening cellars, chefs and cheesemakers around Europe and lesser known cheese areas of the world before returning to Hawke’s Bay.
